ATV SAFETY TRAINING

Bluff Country ATV Club is committed to safe and responsible riding, because of this, the club is committed to training young and inexperienced riders in the safe operation of ATVs.

Bluff Country ATV Club has two Minnesota DNR Certified Safety Instructors and sponsors two safety courses per year; one in Rushford, MN, and one in Dover, MN.

The course is for anyone 12yrs and over, both youth and adults are welcome to attend. The club members volunteer their time to conduct these trainings and have local ATV dealers donate ATV's for use on the driving test. Class size is limited so pre-registration is required.

Class requirements are:

	Must be 12 years of age or older on day of class.
	Copy of birth certificate or other proof of age.
	Have completed the DNR training CD. Bring printed quizzes and Certificate of Completion with signatures.
	Have a parent or guardian accompany you (only for under 18 yrs of age).
	Pay $15.00 state DNR fee (Checks made out to "MN DNR").
	Helmet (DOT approved and must fit properly).
	Goggles (or helmet w/shield).
	Gloves
	Boots or good shoes (no sandals).
	Proper clothing for day of testing (rain gear, coat).
